  • Mark Kincannon started Resolution Equity Partners after spending years in the business brokerage industry with another brokerage firm. As Managing Partner, Mark coordinates Resolution Equity Partners to assist business owners with the difficult process preparing their business for future acquisition. Experienced in organizational leadership, Mark utilizes his years of experience to lead business owners through some of the most complex and stressful situations they have ever experienced. Mark’s experience and understanding of the steps to transition have allowed him to successfully work with accountants, attorneys, bankers, as well as buyers and sellers. He has had the privilege of facilitating the sale of everything from small retail boutiques to multi-million dollar service companies. The leadership, trustworthiness, and communication skills that Mark brings to Resolution Equity Partners help clients navigate the intensity of a business acquisition.

    Mark lives in Fort Smith and is married to Michelle. They have two sons and one daughter. He currently serves as a board member of Arkansas Family Alliance, volunteers weekly at Fort Smith Northside High School and Community Bible Church, and is a member of the 2019 class of Leadership Fort Smith.

  • Jay Richardson brings his leadership, knowledge, and experience from over 20 years in the corporate world to Resolution Equity Partners. Jay grew up in Fort Smith, AR, and after graduating from John Brown University, he experienced a successful multi-state career in corporate leadership. His thorough understanding of business strategy, direction, profitability, and growth allows him to have a unique insider perspective that is beneficial to both the buyers and sellers we encounter at Resolution Equity Partners. He excels in delivering the desired results for a business through his expertise in operations and interpersonal skills. Jay serves on the boards of:

    Jay and his wife, Talicia, live in Fort Smith and have one son and one daughter.


  • Isaac Davis brings advanced communication skills, partnered with expert marketing and sales experience to Resolution Equity Partners. A native of Ghana, Isaac became an entrepreneur at a very young age. Graduating high school at the age of 16, he started a small business which sustained him through college. He graduated from the University of Cape Coast and then moved to the United States receiving graduate education at Harvard University and Berkley College. Isaac gained valuable sales, marketing, and management experience as he was instrumental in helping a Great Britain-based clothing retailer gain a North American foothold as part of their new store launch team. Isaac lives in Fort Smith and is married to Daphne MacBruce-Davis, MD.


  • Mark Burnett brings over 20 years of corporate and organizational leadership experience to Resolution Equity Partners. Mark grew up in Bryant, Arkansas and earned two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Arkansas while playing baseball for the Razorbacks. He achieved his dream of playing baseball as a professional, with five years at the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals organizations. The business and team experiences on the field and in the front office helped Mark establish a 15-year career in the transportation and logistics sector, where he developed growth and profitability strategy. Mark‘s experience with multiple acquisitions and genuine interest in others allows him to connect buyers and sellers in a mutually beneficial relationship. Mark is a traveler, photographer, and Certified Sommelier. He writes at LifeAroundTheBases.com.

  • Alan’s background is in Sales/Marketing and Operations. He has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles including Company Commander in the United States Marine Corps, VP of Sales & Marketing for a tractor manufacturer, Regional Operations Manager for a material handling and construction equipment dealer, and as a director for a construction and agricultural equipment dealer. In his current role as owner and CEO of two companies, Alan is responsible for the day-to-day operations and the P&L for all activities. He creates value through organizational structure, developing culture, creating strategy, succession planning, and ultimately returning profit to the shareholders. Alan grew up in Bryant, Arkansas; he holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Arkansas and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Sam M. Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas.

    Alan and his wife Carol (USNA ’95) live in Springdale and have two sons.


  • Howell is an accomplished business leader with over 25 years of experience in sales and business leadership in small and mid-size businesses (SMB) with annual sales ranging from $1M to $300M. His servant leadership style was deeply influenced by his experience working in and leading his family's wholesale Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) distribution business, which spanned 50+ years and three generations. After the successful sale of the family business, Howell utilized his business acumen and versatility in multiple high-growth companies, serving in various roles including Supply Chain Director, Director of Business Development, Director of Strategic Business Development, and Chief Operating Officer. He boasts a broad range of operational and sales experience providing a unique perspective for developing effective strategies and solutions. Howell creates value through collaboration, strategic planning, system/process development, organizational structure, and communication. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Webster University, which has equipped him with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in his field.

    Howell is a lifetime resident of Fort Smith, Arkansas, where he lives with his wife Staci, and their three daughters.
